worth it's weight in gold. I've always adjusted mine on the truck.

Just jack it up to take the load off the springs. WD-40 to keep things moving.

Ive always used 2 random punches while on truck. Maybe HF. Pretty much same thing as that king tool but cheaper. Once you get the initial movement no worries. I forgot if its the drivers or passenger side (i think drivers?) but when raising there is one small part in the rotation where you cant really turn anymore because of hole orientation, hose and or set screw (lack of hole). I used a short allen in the adjustment hole and pryed a little, literally less than an inch, to bring the next hole past coil bucket where youncan get to it. worked great cause im not into removing unless im changing something

That’s where the king Tool becomes gold. It has just that little extra bend in it, meaning you never can’t reach the next hole

Went well. The tool worked great. I did run into an issue on the passenger side where I couldn’t pick up another hole where the thru bolt is for the adjustment ring but solved that with a nylon drift. Was able to bump it just a tiny amount and then I could grab the hole hiding under the bypass fitting.

Reviving an old thread. Just wanted to provide some info if anyone else is on the fence about adjusting their coilovers on the truck.

I had to adjust my King coilovers today and was honestly expecting it to be much worse than it actually was. I used the supplied King 5/16" punch for the majority of the work and an allen wrench when the reservoir hose got in the way. The allen wrench knicked up the hole a little bit, but nothing major. Use some muscle and it's a piece of cake. I had to do this two separate times and the second time around it probably took 2 minutes on each side to adjust.

PFL Customs roof rack, Body Armor Hi-line bumper. X20 Gen 2 Smittybilt winch, PFL Customs bed rack. Dirt bound rack supports.
Thought I would just add this in here since I checked this thread before I started. another option is a Tein spaner wrench fits the kings perfectly and made adjustments fairly easy on and off the truck, very slow turn on truck cause not much room with the hose but works fairly well only thing I would recommend as well is when you install make sure you can access the screw to losen so it will turn easier.

If you have reservoirs yes you will definitely need that tool. I recently helped a tw member with his and he had to go get the tool from a local offroad retailer. It makes all the difference with kings for sure!!!

IIRC, there is only one. That way it clamps around it like a C and the screw is what holds it together.
