4-runner, buying used 2011 Tacoma

Hi Everybody,
I have been a V8 4-Runner owner for many years (prefer the oldest truck style 4-runners) but my current had to be towed 2 days ago and has to be buried. I am shopping and found a 2011 Tacoma with one previous owner (can't afford more than $22,000) with 84,000 miles. I am taking it to mechanic for pre-purchase inspection today, but wanted an opinion on pulling a small U-haul trailer to AK with the V6 engine. I am looking at either the 5x8 or 6x12 u-haul trailer.
I value your opinion. Thanks.
