And I'll try and meet you both out there! Will only be an 8 hour drive away

@Thatbassguy you would have a blast out there! Hard not to have a smile the whole time. Even the guy getting towed off the trail because he blew out his transfer case was smiling.

A what? A repair? I know not of which you speak. Whether we admit it or not, in the back of our heads was the constant, "You gotta drive this thing home".

The longer we were there the quieter the "You gotta drive this thing home" voice was. And I was getting close to putting tape over the reminder sticker.

I've already been out of town for a month this year. I can barely afford a few 3 day weekends.

    Hopefully next year, though.

It will be a good excuse to hang out and catch up.

We are usually on GMRS 16 on our runs.

That locker was a very expensive break... I might have been in the ballpark on parts but the overnight freight was incredible and he charged me $200 an hour for the labor. Not complaining, just not sure my smile has come all the way back yet.

I can only imagine... I think I'd be in sticker shock if it happened to me.

You were going to get a locker anyway....eventually. The time table simply got pushed up.

The sticker was a constant reminder.

Repair,,,, It's all part of the Adventure. Just like spitting out coffee grounds from coffee that was hot 2 minutes earlier. Eating venison steak that has snow on it.
    Adventure baby Adventure
