What the difference with the one need a pressure washer and the one connect straight to your hose?

Does it make that much of a difference?

air to water ratio

the cannon, with a pressure washer, creates more foamy soap that sticks and stays on the vehicle

the gun, with just a hose, is a watery mix and the suds run off the vehicle quicker/easier

on youtube you will find some in depth videos showing the difference
