Advise for buying a Used Tacoma

I'm hoping this is an appropriate forum to ask my questions. If not, no worries. I'm looking to help my son buy his first vehicle. He has his heart set on a Tacoma. We are going to look at a few this weekend. Both are 2013. One is at a Toyota dealership which allows a 3 day money back guarantee. I appreciate that because I don't know how to access the condition and would use the time to take it to a mechanic. The other one, which has less mileage (99K), is at a dealership that doesn't allow that. Attached are the advertised pictures for under the hood and under the chassis. There is some rust, and I don't know if that is to be expected in a 10 year old truck or cause for concern. Any thoughts? Thank you!
