Hello guys it's me again with my engine swapped trucks, and I am looking for some insight. I am trying to make the C/OPN (fuel pump) work. I know it works by having 12v on one side of the relay coil and the other side is grounded by the ecu to trigger it on, however my ecu won't command the fuel pump on. I believe that is because I don't have a SRS ECU hooked up. When I was doing research it appears the ecu talks to the srs-ecu and if the SRS ECU detects airbag deployment it tells the ecu to kill the fuel pump. Is there a way to trick the ecu into working without the SRS ECU? Currently the C/opn relay is ran with key on power with the other side ran to body ground. That makes the truck run but that's not the safest thing in the world.

It would take something to generate the same signal that the Airbag Module generates which wouldn't bee the easiest thing to come up with.
Honestly the simplest solution IMO if you just want something to kill the fuel pump in the event of a crash is to grab a Ford inertia switch and pigtail, mount it somewhere solid, and tie it into the fuel pump circuit.

This is the signal on the fuel pump disable circuit.
