The patent drawings aren't as hideous as I thought it would be.

Im still keeping my bet on the MSRP tho.

 

I was just looking at the full product price list Toyota put out today...these are all the Tacoma models with 2022-2023 pricing. Wonder if they will have these many 2024 models? I'd say transmission dependent. But they usually can go 2-5k over previous model year pricing.

Not all babies are cute… I have one of the few that can pull off the look as well as the job.

 

I once had hope… that was years back though…

 

Likes:
They didn't do the "gaping maw" frontend design like they did with the Tundra, that little body colored strip does wonders (works on the Sequoia too).
Front end looks very 4runnerish, I like it better then the 3rd gen.
I like how they lowered the corners of the hood/fenders a bit more.
It looks pretty clean overall.

Dislikes:
The sheetmetal spats that extend far below the centerline of the doors and bedsides. Yeah, those might prove to be problematic offroad.
While I like the design of the cab spoiler and tailgate/bed top, it is going to make fitting a camper shell potentially awkward looking.
The inverted crease style line above the flares. Diving in to come back out on that is questionable looking (at least in the drawings).

 

My only question is... can I transfer my wheels, retrax cover, and Prinsu rack to it . Will wait for the 2025 though... gotta get those bugs out of these new models haha.

I am waiting for the holy moly moment when prices release. Like 80k for a Pro.

 

Why would toyota suggest they were unveiling the 4th gen on the 4th but all they post is a pic of the tailgate and some poorly lit night shots?
