4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

Since we all add raptor lights, Toyota bought the raptor layout

 

Is your tacoma stock? I'm seeing a big difference. I am admittedly driving like an old man, but still.

 

My dad is going today to pick up a Roadmaster Estate today.

 

100% stock.

Are you going by what the dash says or are you hand calculating it?

 

So basically when a new vehicle is "coming out" - dealers get to knock people over the head on the existing one (because it's going away and you won't be able to get it anymore) - and then knock them over the head for the new ones because, well, they're new, exciting, and hard to get. I'm glad I picked up my '23 when I did.

 

Well said. It's like they're aiming for the guy who goes to Lowe's 1-2 times a year for a few bags of mulch or the guy who takes dirt road to get to a campground or fishing spot; basically doing anything that a CRV can do.

 

If Toyota hits a home run with the new 4th gen. 3rd gen values will drop a bit.

Not every 3rd gen owner appreciates its simplicity compared to its competitors. Most consumers want the latest and greatest.

 

I dont know, 2nd gens didnt take a hit when the 3rd gen dropped like everyone thought and 2nd gen tundras are actually maintaining and low mileage are higher or similar to even the used 3rd gen tundras on the market. Like you said it just depends on what Toyota brings to the market.

Definitely agree with you. As for looks - from what they revealed so far - all I see is a Nissan Frontier. Too many squared edges and such.

Good luck finding a 4.0 4x4 Tacoma in Florida. Or a 4x2 for that matter half the time. Anyone who's got one keeps it.

 

Yep, similar when I was actually trying to find a clean 2020-2021 Tundra and have ran into trash or overpriced beyond new.

 

Autotrader says otherwise. There's a few hundred for sale in Florida.
