Steering Wheel Control Pigtail Missing? Trying to make the buttons work with head unit.

    It looks like the prior owner tried to DIY the steering wheel controls into their new apple car play supported head unit by splicing wires.

    Of course he failed, and thus left me with the missing pig tail (had to cut it off in order to start splicing) that I would have used with the conversion kit wiring as essentially a plug and play solution. My thinking here is they tried to save about 80 bucks for the little conversion module and wiring pig tail kit.

    So now I'm left with the head unit, the conversion kit hookup that I purchased but no pig tail for the steering wheel controls. Is this an easy fix? or am I just stuck with the fact that I will not be able to "easily" sort this out?
