Anyone know anything about these Cooper Discoverer tires?

Pretty sure it's discontinued model since I can't find it on their website & Google returns the same page as the link.

They also have an LT tire....

Well....I ordered 4 of these this morning with delivery due Saturday.
WM raised the price $20 overnite from $119 to $139....wish I'd ordered them yesterday!

I compared specs to tire referenced above, the only thing I saw different was the Walmart tire has 12/32nd tread depth & the DT tire above has 14/32nd tread depth.

Looks pretty damn close to me....
I like the WM sidewalls better

Direct Tire will still get some my business tho.....need me some new wheels. Hopefully the boys @ my local shop won't scream about bringing in my own tires...will they??

 

Def check the date code on those tires when you get them. At the price they’re selling them for almost sounds too good. First time I’ve ever seen Walmart sell tires.. Walmarts here doesn’t sell tires..

 

I did think about the date code to see if they're old production. Altho Walmart is all about avoiding liability in their dealings with tires I don't think that'll be an issue.

Damn near every Walmart around here has an automotive department and they sell a lotta tires.

Walmart has alotta exclusive Goodyear tires and since Cooper is now owned by Goodyear I figure they did these exclusive as well since the Discoverers A/T are so popular.

When I first made the post they were $119..... The day I decided to order them they went up to $139.... Could've saved $80 on a snap decision
