Yes, from relay wire to mating connector. They left out the pin and wire on the receiving end.

If it has independent switch illumination you're fine. If not...:notsure:

That switch will not do. It'll give you ON - OFF. You need an ON-OFF-ON type, with independent switch illumination.

Or they have the incorrect information on that switch. It's missing pins for a DPDT type.

this is the diagram (both diagrams under the switch I ordered) for a MOMENTARY DPDT switch, though mine is not supposed to be momentary. ill cancel the order asap if this isn't right and maybe maybe pay more attention while ordering another. its the weekend, I highly doubt they've started etching it for me lol

The OEM switch doesn't illuminate to indicate position, only to find it at night. For that pin setup you'd place the positive of the LED's 1 & 3 to positive switch illumination wire (Green) and the shared negative 7 to negative switch illumination wire (Beige)
    Edit:
The switch you have posted is a MOMENTARY type (ON)-OFF-(ON)...incorrect one. ON-OFF-ON is what you require.

yeah I noticed. Here's what I clicked when making the custom switch. I see lots of links to CH4X4 on here so I assume they do good work. Despite the diagrams on their product pages, Id think they'll send what I selected. also, the confirmation email shows it as ON-OFF-ON (second picture)Screenshot 2023-04-01 at 5.40.19 PM.jpgScreenshot 2023-04-01 at 4.32.00 PM.jpg

The switch I linked has the Toyota Small form factor, blends in to the other dash switches. It's a shame they don't have selection for customization of the switch face. The CH4x4 will stick out from the panel hole not like the OEM switches.

Thanks, I’m going to look some more but might end up with the one you recommended. The orange lights are a turn off but not a deal breaker.

Don't connect the ground to the select position, look at the drawing. It shows it's not use. You'll only connect the switch illumination.

I’ve got everything wired up and installed. waiting for the connector and pins to come in. For now I’ve got pins 9 and 5 jumped to have door functions at least

I have a different switching idea. Instead of a rocker, more of a “bed light functions” dual push button. Top and bottom are “ON” and “DOOR”. Normally I’d leave “Door” functioned pushed in, would it be fine to push “on” while leaving “door” pushed? Would Pins 5 and 9 connected at the same time as 5 and 7 hurt anything?

makes sense to me, if I don’t want any bed light functions then neither of them are pushed in, if I want one or the other or both functions enabled at the same time I can do it

Think of the reason the OEM switch is a Single Pole Double Throw. One circuit -OFF- the other circuit function.

Switch came in, I ended up ordering a six pin non illuminated DPDT switch. all black and the lines and shapes of it kinda match the truck. doesn't look like aftermarket so I'm fine with it. I saw this in another thread, this is how I should be wiring it, correct? this diagram just makes more sense to me than the one you created on page 1. not to say I understand why 7 and 10 need to connect at the same time as 5 and 9, and only 5 and 9 when switches the other way. to my understanding 5 and 9 gives you door lights, 5 and 7 keeps them on... like I said I have 5 and 9 jumped until I wire the switch, out of curiosity the other day I jumped 5 and 7 and that turned the lights on regardless of door so on one side of the switch I "could" have 5 in the middle 7 on top (on) and 9 on the bottom (door). I'm sure there's something I'm missing?

I don’t understand the diagram but I will mimic it exactly. This is the way.
