Farting vibration sound inside cab at certain RPM. Possible motor Mount issue?

    Anyone have a diagram of the motor Mount location for Tacoma 2nd Gen. With 4.0 motor 4wd? Getting some vibration sounds at start up and this kind of farting vibration sound from inside the cab until the engine warms up. Want to inspect the mounts.

    Have you even looked for the motor mounts? You can't miss them. One on each side of the engine block.

    I highly doubt that the mounts are defective unless you have been in a wreck.


    I would check the intake where it passes through the fender well on the passenger side. That has been an issue with noise for some.

    I’ll have her on Jack Stands tomorrow. I’ll look at it then. Thank you for giving me a starting point.
