The Toyota entune headunits are known for failing like this even without the knock off nav SD card.

It's an endless reboot that simply can't be fixed. During 2016-2019 I replaced probably a hundred entune units that were in a reboot loop.

Nothing works, but you can try to disconnect the battery.

Some people will suggest the update, but you cant update it if its rebooting.

The headunit is very expensive to replace, I would suggest getting it quoted regardless, then quote an aftermarket unit with apple carplay/android auto.

I have a 2017. I upgraded the map last fall with an SD card from Amazon. Worked fine for a few months then would constantly reboot. Put the old card back in and worked fine. Spoke to Toyota and they said it is the aftermarket sd cards.
Last month I purchased the newest sd card from the dealer and it has been working perfectly. No issues. Time will tell if this continues. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I'm beginning to think the problem is the SD socket. Reboot problem occurs - changeout to aftermarket SD - problem goes away. Time elapses - reboot problem re-occurs. Change back to original SD and it works?

Is there a tried and true method of cleaning the SD contacts and female SD socket? The next time I have reboot problems, I'm going to start with that and see what happens............

I bought ebay 2022 map card for my 2019 Tacoma, still works.

I put the OEM 2019 SD in my wife's 2016 Sequoia, some times it won't recognize the card. Pull it out and put back in, normally solves it.

Maybe copy the SD card onto a higher quality SD card? Cheap ones only support slower data transfer rates.
