    Has anyone done it? How?

I have a 95L Roam box we use for camping and I think It would be great it I could somehow mount it on top of the factory Toyota tonneau cover. The cover is pretty heavy duty and can absolutly handled a 40lb cargo box. Just curious if anyone has a solution for this. I would love to free up some extra space in the bed when we go camping.

    Thanks!

You can probably use bed load bars, then figure out how to mount the cargo box. A buddy uses Billie Bars and he’s quite happy with them.

You could drill through the cover but you would compromise it’s utility (drilling through a cover supposed to protect cargo from the elements), regardless of how stout the cover can be.

Note you’d also void your warranty drilling through the case.

I have a Roam case I wouldn’t recommend putting any holes in it. You need to fabricate a clamp of some sort to the top of the cover or just buy a roof rack and put it up there.
