    Hello TacomaWorld,

I just signed up a few days ago after purchasing my first truck. It’s a 2004 Taco double cab, pre-runner with 157k miles. I knew I wanted my first truck to be a Toyota and I was deciding between a 1st gen taco, 2nd gen taco, or 1st gen tundra. I ultimately settled on the 1st gen taco after finding a good deal on a local one that already had a few mods (3” lift, k&n intake, exhaust, upgraded stereo). The truck is not perfect but I didn’t expect it to be perfect after almost 20 years. I plan on fixing most of the issues myself.

I’m looking forward to learning more about this taco and contributing to the community. I’ve been a part of other forums in the past (mainly Honda forums). I will probably mostly lurk and use the search button before making a post lol.

My main goals with the truck are hauling things here and there from Home Depot and occasionally taking my family camping. Not really planning on off roading nor towing anything quite yet. I may look into an overlanding build. We’ll see.

    Thanks for reading my post.
