Searching for a Toyota aftermarket pigtail electrical conector vendor. I cant be the first to go and remove one & the thing just cracks in your fingers from years of heat cycles (Hou area) this time is was my exhaust pump valve two pin female conector it goes over the male on the pump. If you know of where to buy these conectors please let us know. Im pretty sure the dealer alternative is buying the whole Toyota Tacoma 2.7 harness section. 20230408_180637_HDR.jpg 20230408_180626_HDR.jpg

Disregard my prior post. It snaps in different.
You either need to build your own pigtail, or source one from a used truck.

Hard to beleive no one has tapped in to this market especialy since people are keeping their cars longer. Looks like i got more searching to do. X plan is just crimping two female blade terminals and conecting individually. The one i have now stays in place for now but I havent rode in it, only ran it parked and reset the tc..but id rather find a solution / replacement before I need it.

A lot of connectors can be bought from Toyota without the wires. There should be a part number table in the factory service manual electrical wiring book. I got connectors for my 06 tundra, so they should be available for an 09 Tacoma.

^^ sometimes that’s the only option. And sometimes it’s not too expensive. This specific one looks like sumitomo to me so unless it’s cheaper at the dealership, the link above should get it done. Remove the white TPA with a 1.5mm flathead screwdriver then use the same screwdriver to push back the plastic tab holding the socket in the connector. Then pull out the back by grabbing the wire. Insert into the new connector till it clicks and push in the TPA once both sides are in. Make sure polarity is the same as before. Ground is white w black stripe.

Toyota sell the housings and pins separately, housing part number is 90980–11149.

https://www.corsa-technic.com sells just about every connector and pin you can think of but figuring out how to find the right one can be challenging at times.

The file attached shows how to disassemble and repair most Toyota connectors.
