Is there a trick to get rid of the annoying bubble on the qi pad? Never have it on or use it but has a pretty significant bubble.

That looks like a bubble in the extra pad you have covering it, so I assume it’s also bubbled underneath? I haven’t seen that on mine. Just disappointed it’s so useless.

Definitely bubbled under pad/cover. The cover makes it easy to see how bad it is.

Wow. I’d find that very annoying. And based on the part cost from that other thread it seems they could fix it with something that works.

There was a recall for that. Had mine changed out for free because of the same thing.

I have a 2.7 too and a valvomax drain plug similar to the fumoto, was looking to get one of these seems it would make for mess free cleanup just pricey. It punctures the filter and it drains through a hose on the bottom of the handle

Gave it it's first scar. Backing the Biljax lift into the back yard over an old tree stump (red circle). Almost straddled the stump and dropped the front end on it. Lots of not-so-good sounds, but the front air dam stayed on, and only a few minor dents on the rock shield. Wish I had a video of getting in there, but too busy trying not to ruin my new truck.

Love the back-up camera, hate that it turns off as soon as you shift out of reverse. (Apparently, Toyota engineers don't actually drive the trucks they design?) C'mon - leave the camera on for 5 or 10 seconds, or until you exceed a certain speed. Anyway, I'm not hooked up to the lift in the photo, but the camera gets me nearly dead-on every time. I will definitely be doing the 'anytime' camera mod, and also some cameras under the side mirrors. (For when my 'spotters' become speechless stunned onlookers.)

The electric pole saw surprised me - cut everything shown (pin oak) on one charge. (Greenworks Pro 60v, for anyone interested.)

Today I installed a Redline Tuning 21-27015-02 Hood QuickLIFT.

    upload_2023-5-7_22-8-25.jpg
I have to open my hood every time I rack/un rack my canoe, which is every weekend in the summer. This way my wife can work the front tie down while I'm standing on the rock sliders un strapping the canoe from the roof rack.

The installation was relatively straightforward except the pop rivets were unbelievably difficult to tighten.
    upload_2023-5-7_22-13-28.jpg

It was good to learn that the struts did not interfere with my custom fuse/relay block
    upload_2023-5-7_22-12-33.jpg
    [IMG]

Then I used a small bungee to secure the hood rod so it wouldn't rattle anymore:

Spark plugs at 19k miles. I was surprised to see so much oil on the threads. The passenger side plugs were definitely not snug when I took them out. o_O Truck runs a lot smoother now.
