Taken off a 2015 TRD Pro Tacoma with 50K miles. Asking $499 or best offer picked up locally in Charlotte, NC. The cheapest 6112/5160 dual reservoir kit I have seen online is over $1,500. I can ship if needed, but local pickup is best.

The front drivers shock leaks, but it can be rebuilt and the kit overall is in great condition. Includes all parts for install, the mounts for rear dual reservoir’s, and even the original boxes!

Several different companies can rebuild them, but one company specifically called Down South Motorsports in California specializes in rebuilding them which confirmed via phone call.

I like the kit but I didn’t know you could rebuild those shocks, would be interested to find out what that costs

On the Down South Motorsports website it lists pricing and info about getting them rebuilt. There are other companies that do it as well, but they are the only authorized Bilstein shop that I know of

I just looked again because I have the same suspension and the Down South Motorsports servicing of just the front shocks starts at $750. That’s not including shipping to/from to SoCal as well as extra parts like lower bushings.

When I called them they said it was $350 for the one front shock to be serviced

So that would mean $700 to rebuild shocks that can be bought new for the same price?
I wonder if they can make them extended travel, not sure if the body is long enough?

Technically they are “extended travel” compared to the non 2015 TRD Pro or TRD Baja versions.

To the new buyer, keep in mind that you can install the shorter front bump stops to gain up travel with these since they weren’t included in the package.

The factory 6112 has a longer extended length? I did not know that. I would think they could be extended then. Good to know.
