Who has a Vanity plate for their Tacoma?

Had mine a while, both old and new TN plates.

 

the saga continues at the Michigan Sec of State... finally get them to approve the plate trd-4wd, (so I thought) provided a picture of the plate I wanted and the text... they authorize trdwd. I mean REALLY? LOL! I had to go down in person, go over everything that happened, cancel the current plate, cancel the new trd4w plate, and order a the correct trd-4wd plate. took them a while to figure it all out. I even went so far as to say, I am over it, just let me keep my regular plate... we cant do that, it was "given up" for your vanity plate, and is not applicable any longer. GREAT! So I wait another few weeks while they make this one. government work at it's finest. I mean how in the hell do you mess up a plate when you have an example pic in front of you? Ski

Realized I never posted a photo of the actual plate.

 

I have a low number, technically a vanity plate. The number was my great uncles until he died, then my uncles until he died, hopefully I have it for a long time before it gets passed on.

Added a DIY lit up cover for my plate.
No laws regarding plate covers here.

 

I wanted a Tacoma dog-whistle of sorts, just enough to get a nod from those in the know, but not enough to be memorable for regular folks around the way if I didn’t make a complete stop or happened to be driving 2MPH over the limit.

 

My wife' Elantra has a "Sport" mode as well as "Eco".

I can feel the torque in Sport Mode & it handles quicker.

ECT now in my Sport is boosted with the OTT Tune--love it!

Getting ready to leave Syracuse today...stayed in Liverpool going to Toronto last week Thur & coming back yesterday stayed at Inner Harbor overnight.
