And also why I will drive out of state to get the car we want. Local guy won't match their price? Okay, road trip it is then.

As long as there is still some place to do a test drive I’m fine with no dealerships. Give each service center a few test drive cars and have them do repairs only. Order the car online and have them delivered right to your house.

True. I was just hoping to score another old school truck before then. I've had a couple of Frontiers in the past. They were fine and could be had quite a bit cheaper, but I've always wanted a Tacoma.

I do wonder if the new Frontier will attract people on the fence with its new styling and still having a V6. I don't really like the new look, and if the steering is as sluggish as the last gen, no thanks.

Hope you're right! Maybe they'll be great. My family has a few Toyotas in their garages and they've been excellent. And I'm digging the look so far.

Send it dude! If I were on the market I would definitely would go for a 4gen, regular turbo or hybrid turbo without hesitation. Cheers!

yeah but its still going to be a year away if you are getting a 2024.. Unless you dont care about options you may be able to snag one on release in november but wont be many and a lot of buyers.

If you got the money to get the new Tacoma I believe you will have the funds to drive something else meanwhile. Cheers!

I heard more like January of 2024 for purchase. Then an army of IG influencers and YT’ers looking at first dibs.

Modified 3rd gen. Wouldn’t like to damage that one piece rear bumper/bed side. Must have taken ages to Fiberglass that!

I ordered my truck from a dealer on Oahu and had it shipped to the big island. Picked it up at the port, didn’t even step foot in a dealership. Did everything online/phone, didn’t even test drive

So! Given that we already have the patent photos of the new Tacoma as well as the teased pictures from Toyota USA Instagram to corroborate what was leaked I'm left a little nervous!

I'm no business man, nor have I really read much on the topic. But if there were to be an Access cab model to go along with the crew cab, would it not have been filed along side or separately with the crew cab? Is Toyota (like every other company that makes a mid size truck in North America aside from Ford) axing my beloved access cab!? I'm sure if there is a patent out there it would've surfaced alongside the crew cab. Any news is good news after all right?

Oh God I hope they don't kill the access cab.. sweet Jesus please no. I like my 6ft bed. I hate people. Let me have cargo space and not bigger back seats!

Thoughts? I get that the tundra still has an extended cab model but as does every other halfton segment. So I don't know what to believe.

I think the recent spy shot is a 6ft or 5.5ft access cab. Hard to tell but doesn’t look like a full double cab to me.

that’s certainly not an access cab. It’s larger and also has exterior door handles

Nothing in this sentence means it's not a 4th Gen AC lol.

Meh, you’re not wrong. It is built off the tundra platform. So could be the exact same cab. Which would make the AC have bigger doors with the handles. You’d think they plan the body to be a bit smaller, dimensionally. Anyone’s guess right now.

The new Tundra has dbl cab and crew cab no access but a smaller 4 door and that's what I think the Tacoma will have
