    One of my friends that had dinner with us yesterday is retired from a 30+ year career in IT.
    Doesn't have any form of cable TV, checks his email once a month and just got his first smartphone. And not just his first smartphone, his first cellphone ever.

    Teaching him last night to operate his phone was like teaching a Neanderthal to make fire...and involved just as much pointing and grunting.

    Happy Tuesday folks.
    Taking my car in for an oil change and a coolant change this morning. The coolant is quite the process. Motor in the back, multiple radiators in the front so six drain points and then refill by pulling a vacuum and using a scan tool to cycle valves in the system during the fill and then to cycle pump and valves for bleeding after the fill.

    Found a spot to mount the main unit for my GMRS radio. Behind the passenger kick panel. I have it held with double sided tape at the moment until I double check what’s behind it and then I’ll screw the mount permanently. Doing that on lunch today.

    Thanks! I used to be very active on a Mazda forum for the Northeast back 10 or so years ago, but that group disbanded for the most part. Miata groups have a lot of tools in them so I tend to just fly solo there. Hopefully I will meet some nice CT Tacoma people! :D :D
