I was wondering if anyone knows any tips to re-boot or re-calibrate the front TSS

I was living the dream with my used (13k miles) 2022 TRD OR.
One of the first mods was an X-trek grill which I love. And for week no TSS issues - none.
But now the PCS off light is on permanently and I can't get the PCS working again.
I have cleaned the acrylic cover and actually cleaned the sensor - no joy.
I can toggle PCS ON/OFF in the settings but it still does not turn the PCS on and also I can not adjust the sensitivity. So even the PCS is on in the settings the PCS off light stays on.

This is really bad because I do not want to go back to the UGLY cheese grater grill and although I think the Pro grill looks much better everybody and their brother does that. I just think my grill set up is the best I have seen. The problem is I do a lot of Interstate driving and I really need the Adaptive Cruise Control and with the PCS (front radar) off I only have the old fashioned Cruise Control which sucks.

I could go to the dealer to see if they could re-calibrate it but they are not really a customer friendly dealership so I am avoiding them.

I feel like I should reply to my own post.

Went on one of my typical drive down I40 from Winston Salem NC to Durham NC about an 1.5 hour drive.
Thinking I would have to use the old fashioned Cruise Control I noticed the warning light that the PCS was off was not lit - I should have noticed when I pulled out of the garage but didn't - so not sure exactly when th warning light went out.
The Adaptive Cruse Control was working both to and from Durham. Why did it go off and then a few days later just start working again?

I am wondering if the rainy weather had something to do with it. It has stopped working in rain before but never stayed off.
One problem may be that enough crud kicked up on to the acrylic cover and on the sensor itself that made it stop working.
I cleaned both - cleaning the sensor was relatively easy (a folded 3x5 card covered with a lint free cloth used to clean your glasses did the trick getting into the narrow space between the front of the sensor and the acrylic cover). So maybe the TSS needed some mileage to re-calibrate itself ? ? ? ? ?

Anyway for now I am a happy camper again.
