2018 Tacoma Off Road Access Cab

Question - sorry if in wrong section. LED string lighting installed in bed- Have fused power block in bed and run power from there with a switch mounted in back (Full time power)

Question is that I want to put a switch in the cab also - Can i run a separate circuit to the LED lights connected directly to the battery through the switch. Ideally the 2 switches wlll not be on at the same time but if so will that be a problem.

Other option is to run wire from power block in back through switch in cab and back again but would need to run extra wire.

I would run power …then you could have 2 switches with grounds
