Any word if the backseat gets any additional space?
My 14 yo will be getting my 23 TRD OR when he starts driving in 18 months. At that point I will be in the market again for myself a new truck. I definitely will be looking for a more comfortable interior.(leather, ventilated seats, etc). The new Canyon looks nice as does some Gladiators.

Nothing on back seat room, but there's no way it will go down.

There's no way they increase it either. It's a midsize truck, not a full size. If the push the front seats forward/firewall, maybe.

The Colorado made theirs about 2inches smaller.

    Every inch counts...

@DCB5150 I feel your pain. Gave my 2017 to my teenager and decided to upsize. I bought a 2023 Tundra for the room and the toys.

Bonus points in that I get to stay with a V6, too. Don't want a 4 banger truck.

Cab definitely looks taller but no guarantees on rear legroom. Product planners for midsize trucks are really fussy about offering “too much” space vs selling you up to a full size. Can’t let you get too comfortable back there.

Canyonrado grew externally in every dimension yet rear legroom shrunk. Hopefully Toyota is smarter than that.
