Well I bought a 2016 Accord with 43k on the V6 on the 31st. Got a decent post CV price on it...it dropped well over a grand between when I called to confirm it was in stock (Monday) and when I went up on that Friday.
Drove it, checked fluids, underside, pre test drive and post drive leaks, etc. The obvious items were the 7yr old original tires were down to or close enough to the wear markers, right rear seat release mounting clip was broken (in trunk), and of course it has smallish hail damage front to rear hood/roof/trunk, but I've heard y'all might know a guy and I heard he's excellent!?!?

So I picked up new shoes for the car last week. Also just got a 12 qt pack of Honda ATF (gonna do the 3 drain & refills [approx. 3.3 qts per drain]and replace the external trans filter since I don't have Carfax record on fluid change servicing, also got new brake fluid. Going to do a fuel system cleaner, since I'm due for a combo fuel and oil treatment on the wife's gdi VW atlas...

I was surprised to learn there are a few of the same parts with our Taco's, including 0w-20 oil...not to mention I was able to salvage my led high beam bulbs from the civic, and got another set of h9 adapters from @daveeasa to upgrade the stock dingy h11 bulbs.

Going to do the trans drain/refills and trans filter, as well as the brake fluid flush Sunday at the in-laws. I finally got around to ordering my Taco replacement upper contr arm ball joint and LCA.

So far I've been averaging nearly 35mpg on my commutes, which is only 2-3mpg under1 what I was getting in the civic.

Trust...I have the set from the Taco hardshell I pulled (the plastic "wrap" peeled most of the way off), so I just have to make the drilling templates and make sure there's enough space for the ultimate twin spoiler effect...but should I do that before or after I get that door ding guy to fix the trunk dings?!?o_O

I believe by drilling holes in the trunk for the spoiler you will relieve the stress on the metal and all the dents will just pop out.

You sound like you might be onto something...maybe applying that technique to the roof and hood might work, too!

Figured I'd need the hood to have Maxx Trax mounts, full mini prinsu style roof rack, with extra holes drilled into the roof, since the rack mounts on the channel tracks, but yeah I might as well make it resemble a golf ball and increase those MPGs too!!
