    Hi ya'll.

So for the longest time with my soft tonneau, bestop, and open bed I have been running my CB antenna on a corner mount by my tailgate, and just running the wire through my sliding rear window. Well, I got a camper shell this weekend, and the way the shell sliding window works, that is no longer an option.

My question is how are you guys running your CB wires into the cab? Is there a grommet or something behind the rear seats I could go through? Thanks in advance.

There are several grommets along the floorboards you can route through. There’s a big one under the drivers seat. Cut a small X with a razor, pop your wire through, and then route is under the carpet over into the center console area

How involved it accessing it? Do I have to remove the drivers seat and such? Thanks.

Also, how do you route the wire immediately after the mount? With my previous setup I just put it through the gap between the tailgate and the bedside, but that wont work. Is there a way to route it behind the taillight? Thanks so much.

Yes, the tail light pops off with two 10mm bolts. Gives you an easy path down to the frame.

getting to those grommets is actually pretty easy. You only have to pop off the door sill plate. No seat removal needed
