Oh there will be some mods all right
A little trust comes in to play here, but I asked him if that would help ( I've heard of doing that before) and he said that it wouldn't help, that there definitely was a mass of material that was requiring a ton of weight near the face of the wheel, as well as a fairly large amount away from the face to counterbalance. I say trust comes in the play here because I have been to this discount tire four or five times before and they have been great every time, plus he also said that the other three tires required very little weight so it makes it seem more likely he was telling the truth. All of that being said I am extremely far away from being a tire expert so if that sounds like he fed me a line then oops lol. I already ordered the replacement tire because like I said I needed a spare anyway, but, perhaps when the trouble tire is transferred to the spare steel wheel it will balance out better than it did the first time.

First impressions are good, I look forward to seeing how they handle all that winter has to offer.
