    Good morning CT. Happy Friday Eve. Of course the weekend shows rain both days, let's hope they're wrong.

    Just ordered a shorter antenna cable. 13 foot instead of the 19 foot cable that comes with the Midland.
    The UHF part is not removable so getting it through a grommet is going to be harder.

    I want to put a radio in my truck so badly, but I know I would never use it just like my hand held radios which I got for skiing and forgot to bring nearly every time I went skiing.

    The rain will be a bummer! Hopefully I can get my yardwork done Saturday morning and then dig into running 8awg wire from battery to the bed for a 12v outlet. Luckily I have a garage for that activity.

    Had to get the TRD mountain badge! :)

    If you have the radio mounted in the truck, you won't be able to forget it. I borrowed a handheld last off-road session, decided then that I need my own.
