Ouch, really sorry to read this. How handy are you? If you are mechanically inclined I would fix it yourself. Look for a whole new cab with as much glass, interior etc as possible and swap it out.

As a whole machine I don't see it happening.

Best bet IMO is find something with a bum engine and/or trans, swap yours over. It'd be wiser I think versus doing the body work on yours plus I don't know if I would trust yours after the repair.

that is the plan, I have all the windows taped up. no pride here, I have it covered while I figure out what to do with it, but the plan is to find other transportation.

Glad you are ok and be glad you didn’t learn with a more expensive vehicle.

Are you handy? Can you replace body parts? Best I can think is to find a few totaled Tacomas in a junk yard and buy the cab, doors, etc. and replace the damaged parts on your truck. That all assumes the frame is straight. You can find parts on car-part.com.

Hi Tacoma/Toyota People.... So I am thinking one of my good options here is to sell what I do have to someone who wants the parts. I have a local guy who is interested in buying but wants me to have a number in mind of what I want for it. any advice for coming up with a good number? The truck had 99k miles, 2008, black, frame is in good shape, inside the cab is all in great shape, outside cab is a bit squished (as pictured) frame and engine are good.
    THANKS!!!
