I am looking for a shelf-it or visor caddy overhead storage that drops the visors down for storage. I had one on my '01, but can not find one for my '08. Anyone have one? If so, where can I get one?

No, it is a shelf. You take the visors off and install a bracket into the visor holes. Then a shelf extends to each bracket. You can then install the visors back on the bottom of the shelf. Total drop is about 2", the shelf is 6" deep, and allows you to store smaller items.

I remember those. You reattach the visors to the bottom of his shelf. Great idea. If you find it please post.

I'm not sure they're made anymore,I have one in my 91 extracab but a buddy was lookin for one for a 1st gen an wasn't able to find one because most all vehicles now have some sort of something between the visors (temp, direction, glass holders,etc..) that make these shelf-its obsolete an unmountable since they just run visor to visor an screw in the visor holes...

That is exactly what i was just looking for, for my 3rd gen. I actually made one for my Honda Pilot, worked awesome between the grab handles on the ceiling. Havent found anything for the Tacoma, however time to get creative and try to mock up something. I think people would like being able to store or at least clip something up front. They have the rear ceiling molle panels, but that is way in the back out of reach.
