As mentioned several times in the 5.29 Mega Thread ECGS is amazing

Had my appointment today. Showed up at 745 am and who am I greeted by in the parking lot a few minutes later…. Chase the owner. Super nice guy as well as every other single person I met there today. Top notch service and believe it or not I was out and on the road home at 11 am - I was blown away.

Im on my 3rd stop now for gear break in purposes as I’m about 140 miles from ECGS

I went with 5.29’s and man it’s a new truck. Rides and drives amazing.

I can’t say enough great things about this place- I recommend ECGS to anyone wanting gear work.

I’m on a 265/70/17 and just quick numbers as I’m breaking them in and only hit 70 for a few mins on a stretch of road. Stock at 70 I was about 1750 rpm…. But realistically almost always at 2000 rpm at 70 due to the constant down shifting my truck does - Now w 5.29 and my tire size I do 2300 at 70 which is fine w me. I rarely drive any faster than that. (And I know I’ll go w bigger tires in the future)

Anyway this was just a shot out to ECGS - Top Notch all the way.

Be sure to get your tune updated with the latest calibration for the 5.29s, makes a big difference.

Glad to hear it went well. Place smells strong of gear oil eh??? :D

I mentioned them in the post I think. Nothing big yet just 265/70/17.

    Right.

2300 at 70 is not bad at all. I’m running about the same doing 60-65 or so. 4.30 gears and 33s.

I went in and had my needle bearing done there. Everyone I talked to was awesome and I was in and out in an hour. Great place to deal with.

I saw a sign that read

    EGGs for
    sale

I thought the place installed gears, but it was a farm.

Mine was 225 about a year ago. Not sure about now but they gave me the price over the phone when I scheduled the appointment. Best bet is to call or message them.
