Hello all. I'm new to Tacoma World and just learning about cars/trucks in general and need some advice. (Feel free to spell things out and talk to me like I'm 5.) Looking to put a 2in lift on the front and 1in lift on the back while upgrading the suspension. I drive 99% highway and the suspension's primary purpose would be to provide a smoother ride. Not looking to extend brake lines or install new upper control arms...whatever that means. Links would be super helpful as I'm not too good with car jargon. Thanks in advance. Hopefully this forum can help out other new guys like myself!

Welcome! Usually as a commuter truck, your current setup should suffice. Sounds like Bilstein 5100s should do the trick for you. Just Google them, you can order them from 100s of vendors. I got my set from rockauto but that was a couple years ago.

Icon stage 6. Make sure you don’t get heavy springs. That will give you the smoothest possible on road ride.

I also have an SR 4x4 but mine is a 2020. I lifted mine with bilstein 5100s and an add a leaf in the rear with my stock springs up front. I just went small (keeping it close to stock) with the clip up front set to the second position. Easy job and I think you’ll like the results. Happy lifting!
