Is there a way to fix this, or am I not getting a roof rack on my truck? Essentially that plate with the hole in it overlaps the screw hole too much

Didn't notice it until after I had already cut holes in the weather stripping

You could use a Dremel and a steady hand (no caffeine) to grind down that section.

This is actually somewhat common. The Dremel idea is a good solution. It won’t take much.

Well, to report back, the Dremel did work wonderfully. Took a couple minutes and they were good to go. Rack is installed and looking great. Thanks for the help. :)

Interesting you say its somewhat common though. I had been lurking several Prinsu threads and never saw a mention of this issue there or on the couple youtube videos I watched.

Well done. It didn't look like needed too much attention, but sometimes, that little bit is a show-stopper till it gets sorted. I've had several simple mods turn into a WHOLE THING due to stuff like that. Hahaha.

While looking for help installing my Prinsu, I remember coming across a discussion here about the same issue you were having. There were several people here with misaligned mounting holes. Glad you got it worked out.
