The 93-97 F150 car crusher in its previous life was a 82-87 F150 until I dropped it 10-12 years ago. I'm more partial to the newer body style anyway. The Badman II 55 Chevy I picked up at a swap meet for $20 still in the box last summer. Modifications include a blower, hood delete, Gasser suspension, Cragar wheels,drag chute and removal of front air dam. The Gasser suspension was made with rear leaf springs shortened and aluminum ink tubes from pens. I even use the pen tips for spindles when I can. This is one of my favorite builds.

 

William63 posted one of these A100s recently. These are my modified versions.I have seen both of these trucks over the years. The Hemi Xpress was actually in my area at one time and the Little Red Express I saw in the Don Garlit's Museum in Ocala Florida. If you go to Disney World you need to visit that museum as well. Two buildings with 200-300 old vintage drag cars. We actually met Don while he was setting up a new display. I'm not happy with the stance on the top 2 trucks and they will be set up more like the third truck soon.

 

I think I might have that Badman Chevy 1/64 hot wheels. Not as detailed as that one. Came out really nice!!

 

So I packed up the truck to head to a show in Marlboro Mass. thought I would set up a table and try selling some of this stuff. They have a buy and sell show the third Sunday every month. Except this month! O well it was a nice early Sunday drive.

 

Timing is everything!

 

Just placed an order at Diecastmodelswholesale.com. Not gonna be able to attend Canfield Swap Meet in a couple weeks so I placed an order that will arrive about the same time. Wont feel so bad for missing it.
Gonna try to attend Hartville Flea Market next Saturday. Usually do well there and don't feel ripped off most of the time.

Diecast has a clearance section on their website and i saw a lot of EMS and VWs on it if anyone is interested.

I also just checked on my model car inheritance that is waiting for me in South Carolina. My brothers father in law has a huge model kit collection that I have been promised when he passes. He is in hospice now. I'm glad for him that he is still hanging in there. In this case I don't mind waiting and hope the guy lives to be 100.

I've done that before...resisted...well sort of...I usually get at least 1 LoL. These are the 3 I would have snagged from what I could see.

Yea, that one I have not seen on the shelves to date either. You may want to go on Facebook Marketplace...people have them posted for $15-20 if you want one....or ask if they do trades....most people trade for other than Toyota trucks...especially square body Chevy trucks if you have some. Good luck.

 

Its not high priority, I may stumble on it...i need to hit up a flea market. Theres a few who sell there.

When it comes to Hot Wheels. I tend to go for the basics or their car culture line. But seeing this did take me back to the halcyon years of the import tuner scene...



Feel free to mock, but I was raised on NFS Underground and the early Fast and the Furious movies (long before they went to space).
