I've got a bit of an odd one. 2017 tacoma with no moonroof or roof rack, interior leak near the a pillar onto the floormat.

Where should I be looking here? I don't believe this would have any sunroof drains?

I can't remember exactly but if my memory serves me right, some people have issues with the AC condenser not draining properly and that's usually where it ends up.

That's not good, how do the weather seals look? Next dry day you can do some tests with your hose, figure out if it's rain getting in or not... And not to insult your intelligence but is it possible the door was left cracked? My kids sometimes don't close the door all the way...

May not be in any service records. OEM was made by Pilkington, IIRC, at that time.

Sounds like it was pre-owned seeing you mentioned records. Easiest first step is pull the roof channel rubber strip off and make sure the OEM roof rack holes are still covered. Sometimes prior owners have stuff installed and remove and then don’t bother fixing things back up.

Otherwise, have someone sit inside the truck and take a hose and start low and go high until you figure out the area where it’s leaking. Could be anywhere from the lower corner of the windshield on up. I’d be careful though and remove the kick panel and place some towels so you don’t get any electronics wet.

Cowl is clear, before I opened the door I checked the gaps and window and both looked good.

The roof seal on the driver's side has baconized from the sun but the passenger looks good. I do appear to have an aftermarket windshield

I'd start with checking the windshield for leaks and/or blockage in the drains for the cowl area.
