    I would like to do this mod. I have a 2019 MT. Has anyone done this mod on a MT? I think I know where to tap in for power but not sure.

    You can tap into the power going to centre console USB.
    Only difference between the TRD Pro AT shift knob and MT is the shift pattern stamped on the top.

    A few years ago I installed LEDs in my cup holders and rear center storage console. I have them wired to come on with my headlights and I think I can tap into them for your mod. I would prefer the TRD to light only when my headlights are on. I don’t remember what I tapped into for these lights, guess just need to verify it is a 12v source.

    Finally got the Pro Shift Knob Illumination installed, and I love it.
    I also tied it into the security light as you can see from the pictures (blue for interior and red for the security).
    I tied the blue interior LED to be on when I have my headlights on. I installed LEDs in the cup holders and rear center console so it was easy to just tape into that wiring.
    Not sure what the difference is between the AT and MT but I did not have to drill a hole in the collar to pass the wires through.

    I reallyike this mod.
    I have a 2023 TRD OR with the upgraded shift knob.
    All I want to do is make that TRD glow red.
    What do I need to buy to make that happen?

    Love this mod. Well designed and easy to install. I recommend it to everyone. I have the blue light in the knob to come on with my headlights and then tied it into the security system to flash red when the truck is off.
