New rattle sound

Hi all,

I have a 2015 trd sport double cab with 180km on the clock.

Recently, most of the time when I’m starting from a stop, as I cross the 1000rpm spot my truck lets off a quick rattle, from somewhere under the truck.
Doesn’t happen if I accelerate from a rolling start - only from a stop and at that exact rpm spot.

Any help with ideas as to what I should check first would be appreciated.

Cat covers?

 

First hunch would be one of the exhaust heat shields is loose.

cat cover isn’t wiggling - and one of the shields on the passenger side, a longer shield is! Moves up and down - the rusted bolt doesn’t seem to be holding it flush against the bottom of the truck anymore. I’ll see if I can tighten it and if it stops the rattle.

Canadian winters….everything rusts.
