My buddy was shooting 300 blackout at psa indoor range and a casing bounced off the wall and got stuck between my shirt and neck, didn’t really think much of it but when I got home it looked like a massive hickey on my neck. That was a tough one to explain to the wife haha

There is a video that got some notoriety not too long ago where a young man used the forward assist in a live fire situation and it likely saved his life...

That's interesting. Mine went from "Submitted" to "Approved" with no movement in between.

Any application that doesn't have a model name in the system goes into "pending research" before it goes "submitted" and sends you a cover sheet. I never put a "model" for 80% receivers, so they always have a "pending research" phase. This phase has taken anywhere between 48hrs and 51 days. With the current photo requirement, I'm not sure why it takes so long. Historically, the reviewers just sent me an email, and I emailed photos then I got my stamp the next day.

    Same crap everyone else got
Big stretch with just seeing a receiver. No red parts, skeletonized grips or receivers, bridged optics.

If you're gonna cast stones, you have to at least offer up a pic of what you're working with.

    Damn!!

I've shot full auto with numerous calibers at my indoor range with spent casings bouncing off the partition and landing on me. Never had that happen.

A couple of years ago I was watching a video and HeatherLYnnOH (aka Freedom Tits from Mat Best's earlier videos) caught a piece of brass in her cleavage. I was watching her on Kick (new competitor to Twitch for those unfamiliar) last week and she was wearing a low cut top. Sure enough she has matching scars on both sides.

I'll go back and explain to the non-gamers. Twitch is a service where you can watch others play games that you suck at yourself (that's my primary use since I torture myself playing Escape From Tarkov). Or you can watch girls in bikinis live. Whatever you're into at the given moment.

I had a 45ACP casing bounce off the wall a month back --> go down the back of my shirt and get stuck between my bra and my back, being pressed into my back by said bra

I have permission to wear flip/flops in there - as long as I don't act like a b*tch when I get hit by casings - so I had to take a deep breath and slowly get it unstuck while it burned me

Pssh. I wish all women could take that breath and move on.

I won’t get into the specifics but I was RSO’ing a range qualification, (Marine Corps, table 2 for some pogs from the wing) and some chick got some hot brass down her back.

She dun lost her shit, reached back behind her, swinging the rifle with her other hand, and shot out one of the other RSOs eye ball.

Now, if it had been a dude, especially in the infantry, he’dve got his ass kicked, with the possibly of death. I think they just took her rifle, told her it’s ok, and gave her a unk before driving her back to wherever the fuck she came from.

My latest purchase... Entire build with scope and bipod was under $1,500. Took it out to 1,000 yards no problem.

Just picked up an ultrasonic cleaner for my suppressors. Can't wait to not have to scrub carbon out of baffles.

I went with low hanging fruit... Probably won't last forever? But I only need to use it once every few months.
