Drove it to walmart

 

Washed, clayed, paint corrected and ceramic coated with Adams advanced graphene ceramic coating.
Work was done yesterday but pictures today. Second pic is the hood.

Thanks! The smaller light pink is a Japanese Maple (I think) and the larger is a cherry hybrid. Im not sure what types but once the leaves come in that three will have half green and half reddish leaves.

So far so good, I've only driven them around town. I had plans to buy the Copper STMAXX but these were new take offs from a jeep that I basically stole. I'll probably get them in the dirt this weekend.

Note that really only the passenger side works in the Tacoma since the center area 'drops' to house the hand brake. But I have more cars so the driver side cubby will go to good use.

 

good play. I ran ST Maxx's for a little while they were ok... they were ok. I dont think id choose them over pretty much any other comparable tire

 

Very astute observation! After you pointed that out I can see the paper mat on the tray is also in Spanish.

 

Maybe wheel to the more remote trails and go for a hike? Or wheel to the more remote trail and have a beer and imagine the hike.

It's funny how different people have different experiences with the same tire. My dad has had great experience with six sets on two different trucks. That's the only tire he'll run.

 

In terms of reliability, they were great. But snow and rain traction-even my falken MTs were superior. Obviously the mud tire was superior in the mud, but they were MUCH quieter on pavement than the coopers in my experience. I think ya did well

 

6x9’s in. Simplest mod ever.

Anyone looking to upgrade, over stock I say find a decent sale and switch them out, your brand of choice, kicker, alpine, pioneer, infinity, etc.

Crutchfield was very quick with shipping. 2 business days to TX @ no extra cost. Provided plug and play harness as well as 6x9 brackets for free.

 

I too installed those Infinitys. The only issue I discovered is that it took a few weeks to break them in. Also recommend sound deadening behind them to improve base response.

 

Im going to order that next. I ended up pressing the the push-button on the angled tweeter. Supposedly the output level goes from 0dB or -3dB to optimize system linearity. Doubt it’ll make a big difference on stock head unit lol.
