SR OEM LED and VLED Tails, Right-turn signal completely dead

Hey all,

It hasn't even been a week since I installed the VLED tail light kit. Today I parked for a few seconds in downtown and had the hazards on, I came in, turned off the hazards, drove off. Tried to signal my right turn signals, nothing. No sound, no clicks, not a peep.

Furthermode when I set the stalk to DRL, only the left side lights up.



Few questions:

1. How do I begin to diagnose this the proper way?
2. Is this a fuse problem? Resistor problem? Or did I kill one of my headlights?
3. Am I doing something wrong by having resistors both in the front and rear? (Without them, I get rapid blinking).

I am saying this in hopes to save the other headlight housing while it still works.

 

One fuse for turns/hazard.
DMM the wire to the failed headlight to verify signal to it.

 

You ready for this? I turned off the car, went to grab a bite. I come back, everything is working. So whatever it was that was borked, magically resolved itself while the car was off. Question is, how did this happen and what electrical malfunction caused this to happen in the first place? I tried to reproduce it by doing exactly what I did, going from hazards > turn signal > turning off hazards, I couldn't reproduce.

 

Maybe it's a sign the headlight has an issue with heat/prolonged hazards.
