Recommendations and opinions on Tacoma seat risers

I'm 6' and the Seat Jackers made a big difference for me. Yes, it cuts into leg room under the steering wheel. But for me the seats had zero leg support until I put the spacers in. Much more comfortable now. Worth every penny.
I'm really looking forward to trying the seating position in a 4G; that might be the big improvement that gets me to upgrade.

 

You do realize you drive a Japanese vehicle built in Mexico?

 

Its more about the angle of the seat base (points toward the floor) and the relationship of the seat height to the floor, not the steering wheel. But if you're perfectly comfortable there's no reason for you to need to understand why others would want them.

 

I can understand the need.

But I have a power seat and have the front lifted as far up as it can go.

My knees don't hit the steering wheel since the lift is subtle.

I've lowered it to the bottom and it does feel flat...so that's why they're needed.

 

Kind of like ordering a non pro skid plate. Gets the job done.

 

I have mine with the front lifted as far as it can go too and I still feel like I'm leaning forward.

Different body types. Some 5'8' people say no way, some 6'+ say best thing ever. Depends on leg length and torso length.

 

Not for me. Power seat positions are fine.

I would not buy a Chinese-made vehicle for sure.

 

Seat Jackers are totally worth it. So much more comfortable on long trips.

 

I added mine yesterday finally, huge difference. My fused neck is already thanking me!

 

At 5'7" I went the opposite direction from most of you. Lifting the back of the seat has been great. Before I was getting a sore back around the 2 hour mark. Now I'm fairly comfortable indefinitely. Also, I like sitting g a little taller.

Rough life when the Tacoma felt a bit too big...

 

So ya only did the rears?

Thinking of pulling the trigger on some sear jackers. Not sure if I should do passenger as well

 

Desert brand front jackers work great. I'm 6ft 2in and they don't put me much closer to the wheel or dash than already was so no interference concerns. Makes for afar more comfortable drive when making long trips when you are going 12+ hours in a day.
