I have a 2021 Tacoma with 16k miles. Here lately I have noticed that the floorboard begins to vibrate lightly around 30-40mph. I’m 99% sure it’s the needle bearing due to having bilstein 5100s installed 10k earlier and from reading other people’s posts on this forum. The bilsteins were installed at a Toyota dealership. I already have the ECGS bushing, but just need to put it in. My question is since I had the shocks installed by Toyota, would they replace the bearing under warranty with the ECGS? I have heard that if you install a lift from somewhere else they will not cover it under warranty.

It is generally a warrantable repair. If your dealer did the lift, they should warranty the issue. That said, they may not use parts that you bring in. You'll have to work with what tell give you. Also, it is likely that only the dealer that you bought it from will warranty that.

The bushing install is pretty easy.

If the vibration disappears, it's likely the needle bearing.

Yes it happens intermittently when in 2wd. Sometimes it vibrates sometimes is doesn’t. It quits when in 4wd so it is definitely the needle bearing.

Okay thanks. All work will be done at the dealer I bought it from. Hopefully they can replace it with the ECGS since it actually fixes the problem.
