Haven't had much of a chance to use it, but it sits nicely within the grill

Mike’s Custom Toys for an easy to deal with transaction, and great knowledge to boot.

I’m looking forward to installing the 6112/5100 set up. Keeping it stock height, and pretty much stock overall except for the Harrop rear e-locker and the Bilstein stuff. Thasit. Under the radar SR5 4x4 work truck.

Installed a Tuffy security box in the rear cubby. Not For Knox, but I like it. ...I also added the scratch...like an idiot!

No issues, just make sure you have at least 1/4” clearance between the shield and the front driveshaft. Unknowingly, mine was touching at first, and then I readjusted it to increase the gap. I’d still like more clearance But all in all, all good.

You are exactly right. I left the hood up after install and had a few cold ones while checking it out. So every 3500 miles when I change the oil and filter (I know Toyota says every 10k miles, but that is messed up) I can admire it again with several cold ones.

So far…. Added fog lights swapped halogens to led’s, interior lights to led’s, bed lights added, led/strobe brake lights, trying to figure out the right leds for turn signals.
Changed out back door speakers. Cursed a lot. Broke a lot of plastic clips. Why can’t we just use screws folks

2CC4299A-1D6D-4D4D-9703-9343808A8179.jpg Installed RAS helper springs, lifted the rear slightly, which I’m happy with because of the issues that’ll occur if the rear sags further with added weight. I already get high-beamed quite a bit with an empty bed and stock, factory aimed LED headlights. As I jacked up the rear of the truck, the leaf springs, with less than 1500 miles, were pretty much flat. Not real happy with that.B24BCEFC-D2AA-44A5-AAD2-B2E09F72D030.jpg Installed Total Chaos bed stiffeners, adds some tie off points. Often have large items I need to secure, the lack of stock tie-off points similar to earlier model Toyota trucks is pretty lame. A3590653-AB98-4F4A-94D7-2FF1C8F0B9BA.jpg Installed Pop & Lock rear electric tailgate lock. The tailgate being locked with the fob at the same time as the cab should absolutely be standard on every Tacoma.
