    Crazing along a couple days ago when I heard a loud thunk and saw a rather large piece of metal fly behind in my rear view mirror. Pulled off and saw a couple few minor scratches so no big deal. Clean the truck yesterday and saw the rock sliders took thre brunt off the hit! Whew i that could have been worse without the sliders for sure. Now I’m glad I got them!

    How much they help, I don't know. They're not a fullproof solution, unfortunately. But they do deflect a decent percentage of rocks. My 2013 will be 10 years old this July and I can count on one hand the number of rock chips I have on my lower door panels, and they're all very minor to the point that you have to be washing the truck to even realize they're there.

    I fell into a drainage hole right next to a road cut just after my wife said look out for that hole (dummy me!) and my slider took the brunt of leaning against the side hill rocks and the lip of the hole as my truck pulled out of it… my rear bumper corner got torn off too though. :annoyed:
