I’m fully aware of how they work. But since you seem to know everything I want your explanation on it. I’d love a physics lesson on why you think there shouldn’t have been a deployment and yet their was.

No offence, but it really doesn't sound like it, and I am really not intrigued enough to take the time discuss something that you clearly don't understand. If you want to believe that your abs sensors work like a trip wire around a mine field, so be it. That is probably more than the average citizen thinks so I commend you for your effort. Maybe use your knowledge to make a TikTok video and call it a day.

Tacoma owners, out of any group, should know this :spy:

Bad news! Sorry OP - but hey, easier to fight insurance for value when it's smoked than diminished value.

Truck + crumple zones did their job, tires are heavy. If that was a motorcycle, you'd be dead.

Ok buddy. I was an auto electrical tech for 14 years. So I think I have a pretty good idea of how they work. You’re just salty because I’m calling your bluff.

Hey everyone. Last month has been a nightmare. Insurance tried to say she wasnt totalled after I removed the whole aftermarket Fox suspension, four KO2s mounted on black RSC R10, Camburg Racing Billet UCA, Pioneer DMH-WC6600NEX headunit connected to full Focal K2 sound. Had to tear it down to get them to accept the total loss. Finally got that handled. Now we are negotiating on the pay out.

Acquired a F250 diesel while this was all playing out so gonna sell the Fox kit, KO2s on R10, Camburg Racing UCA, and Pioneer headunit. On the fence about the Focal 12" sub. It is in a birch box custom built for the double cab taco with some slight modifications to push the seats forward. If someone was interested, could probably be convinced. Giving people in this thread first crack before I put them up to a wider market. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Here's hoping the Ford oil burner works out for you. I've got a Chev diesel that I use as a tow/work rig. But I've really grown to like my Taco. Hope everything works out for you whatever you decide.

Would have preferred to keep my Taco but my buddy gave me a super deal on the dirty d with the condition I dont sell it immediately. Definitely an upgrade but hard to justify with my lifestyle.
