    For years I used the Brad Penn "Green oil", the product line was purchased by D-A Lubricants so I continued with them. Unfortunately the nearest distributor is clear up in Rochester, NY and seems to have stopped supporting this area. :mad:

    I guess I can see their point to a point, it is a minimum of 150 miles one way for them - probably not really worth the cost of the business.

    I could get the BP/D-A products in a 5W-30 which was handy for the winter, VR 1 doesn't offer that grade.

    We pulled out of the drive at 4:10 am and were parked in Carlisle, Pa for the Spring sale/swap/junk fest before 7:30 - excellent driving: no rain, fog, slow trucks or school busses.

    Didn't buy anything except lunch. :notsure:
    Mrs Green bought some t-shirts with cats on them. :laugh:

    I wasn’t trying to get any NASA politics going or put Hunter on the spot when I asked that question. It is definitely 2 different business models in the way they approach business. Growing up in the Apollo era and remembering watching the moon launches with the shirts and ties in Mission Control and the serious, monotone voices on the countdowns I get a kick out of watching the “game show” vibe from SpX.
