I run 255/80 coopers on an 8.5in wide rim. Haven’t had any issues airing down to 18 psi. Just picked up a set of falkens to switch to in the same size.

I haven’t put the falkens on yet. My work commute just got a lot longer. The falkens are less burly and a little bit lighter than the coopers. I’m sure the falkens will still suffice for the type of off roaring I do.

Starting this thread up again. I'm thinking about running these tries/size on SCS Blaze 10 wheels (17x8.5) and would love any feed back on the sizing as well as airing down for off-roading.

I ended up going with Toyo Open Country AT3s. They were great.

Thanks for the reply, glad to hear they are working for you. Have you gone off-road and aired them down?

I have the wildpeaks on a 0 offset wheel. With this setup I needed to fold the pinchweld/ trim a bit of plastic and it just barly kissed the cab mount. I could have left it but I had the welder next to me so I just did the chop. Offroad and on they do great. Best tires in deep snow I have ever ran. Offroad I have aired down to 20 without issue in rocks. IMO 8.5 is a wider wheel then I would prefer for 255 but I have not had any real world issues yet.

I typically run them at 12 PSI for low speed offroad riding and they are great.
