Electric or something else

I have a problem with my Tacoma it’s a 2018 4x4 off road. I was driving from Texas back to Arizona and then it started doing some weird ass stuff. My radio turns on and off while driving. And recently my lights on the dash come on and the speed needle was going crazy up and down any feed back or more knowledgeable info on it would be much appreciated.

These trucks have very sensitive electrical systems.
Always start first where the last guy worked: Do you have any modifications like a stereo or added electrical accessories?

Check that the battery connections are clean and tight too.

 

That happened then I got a warning for pre collision system malfunction see dealer. I stopped at a rest stop and turned the truck on popped the hood and tried checking it. Didn’t see or find anything closed the hood tried turning it on and it didn’t strt no click nothing like the battery was dead. Waited about 5 mins and it turned on like nothing with no warnings.

 

Perhaps a loose connection at the back of the combination meter.

 

Did you happen to notice any UFOs overhead when this started?

No I replaced it last year
