I ended up trading my 85 mustang for it and my buddy threw an additional 6k on top of the deal and all new OEM front timing kit. The truck has 220k miles runs and shifts like butter. First thing I did was change out the front brakes they were pretty much gone started to dig on the inside of the rotor. Next order of business took it my buddy who was a certified Toyota mechanic &
had him install my front timing kit and redo the gaskets on the intake manifold upper and lower and valve cover. Replaced all the heater hoses. New radiator and had the coolant system flushed since at one point someone put stop leak in it… man I hate when they do that straight dookie water . The reason I got the truck is because I like to do a lot of coyote hunting and my 2017 f250 would be to big for some
of these back trails and get pinstriped. Since it’s a 60k truck you know how that would feel lol The taco is the perfect size for these trails and I love tacomas.
I owned a 2012 Tacoma trd off-road back in the day 2wd it was v6. The money I got in the deal I ended buying

Icon 2.5 res shock for the front and rear the non-adjustable ones.
    Icon upper control arms
    Moog lower control arms
    Moog lower balljoints
Moog inner and outer tie rods
    Moog steering rack boots
All-pro rear leaf spring kit to convert to 98-04 leaf spring so the mounts will need to be cut and welded
Will be dropping it off at the shop in 2 weeks to get these parts installed.
My plan is to go 33s on 17s then eventually regear and do 35s.

Love how your truck turned out. How much lift did you put the truck at? Were you running the stock 31x10.5x15 tires when you first lifted it? thats the look im after! great job
