Anybody try this pre-assembled 4600 / Moog spring combo?

I'm using 150k miles on my '15 DCSB PreRunner as an excuse to swap out some suspension components, and wondering if anybody has tried this setup (4600s with pre installed OE-replacement springs):

    https://www.suspensionlifts.com/sho...-for-2005-2015-toyota-tacoma/#reviews_summary

Not looking for any lift, although also considering 5100s at 0 with OME 883s or 6112s set at the lowest perch, which is something like .6" of lift.

Suspension is feeling wallowy and I get a ton of brake-dive. No offroading minus to the odd trailhead in NC for mountain biking. Mostly looking for on-road manners.

I have not tried those, but going up to a Bilstein 6112 would be much better in my opinion and don't cost much more than what you linked to. Loved mine when I had them at stock height, hard to imagine a better OEM+ type shock.

I think that's what I'm after. So they weren't too jarring at stock height?

Oh definitely not, they are great all-around shocks. 4600's suck. 5100's are known to be stiffer than 4600's. 6112's are what should have come from the factory and are smooth as butter but still responsive.

I only took mine off because I lifted and went to Fox 2.5's for offroading. I still have the old ones in the garage and wouldn't hesitate to put them back on and run them again.

I just got a set of the 4600 pre assembled coil overs . However they look too long . The truck is a 09 pre runner stock height . The springs are supposed to be moog 81074 . Any info would be appreciated

Do they look like 3rd gen springs?

The truck has the original stock coil overs on it now . The bilsteins I got have a much longer coil on them . The stock ones have 7 coils and the bilsteins have 11. It looks like I would have to compress it a lot to get them in . Then is the front going to lifted which I I did not want . Sorry this is the first time I have had to replace a coil over shock/strut. It’s an 09 prerunner 2wd, v6, acces cab stock suspension height . Any info or help is much appreciated .

I’m really starting to think I got ripped off because I’ve asked questions about these everywhere and nobody apparently has installed this set up . Live and learn I guess.

When I was researching this setup on SuspensionLifts, I noticed that the Moog spring number would change based on what vehicle options you chose, i.e. 2wd or 4wd, double cab or access cab... but both spring variants were rated at 690lbs, which sounds a lot like the slightly longer 3rd gen OEM springs vs the 590lbs OEM 2nd gen springs. That's what's been holding me back from getting them.

Mine is a 2wd pre runner ( non trd ) and their site listed the spring as Moog 81074 . Moog says that won’t work on anything past an 07. But I think they are referring to a Toyota stock shock . I jacked it up today, took the wheel off and held the bilstein ones up and it looks like they will fit . My only concern is that it will lift the front which to much . I expect it to lift it some because the original stock ones on it now have 170000 miles on them and have to be wore out .

Think you'll end up installing them? Really interested in hearing how they work out.

I’m going to try and ask some more questions around tomorrow. I have not got any feedback on this set up from any of the Toyota sites . Thought surely someone had them . I would like for them to work because apparently sending things back to suspensionlifts is a train wreck. I guess I had too much confidence in those online sites .
